நான் மறக்கும் முன்னே
before i forget
அன்போ வன்மமோ இந்த நொடியே தீர்த்துக்கொள்வோம் அணைத்தோ உதைத்தோ உணர்வை உதிர்த்துவிடுவோம் நாளை நான் மறந்துவிடக்கூடும்
மற்றும்
மறு நாளின் மீது எனக்கு துளியும் நம்பிக்கையேயில்லை மறு நாள் நீங்களோ அல்ல நானோ இல்லாமல் போய்விட்டால்..?
உங்களுக்காக நான் வாங்கி வைத்த பூக்களில் துருவேறிவிடும் எனக்காக நீங்கள் வாங்கி வைத்த கத்தியோ வாடிவிடும்

love or rage —
let us settle it this very moment.
embrace or strike —
let the feeling fall away.
tomorrow i may forget.
and i have not the slightest faith in the day after.
what if, by then, you are gone —
or i am?
the flowers i bought for you
will rust.
the knife you bought for me
will wilt.
